Choose a story and add two photos to make a zombie video. This AI zombie filter creates a filmed scene; it does not track your face through a live camera.

What Does an AI Zombie Filter Do?

The effect reimagines a person as a fictional zombie inside a generated video. Our studio combines two reference photos with a selected story, including its setting, roles and movement. Start with ordinary, clearly lit photos: you do not need to add zombie makeup first.

A Face Filter, a Zombie Portrait or a Video?

A live camera filter follows facial movement while you record. A zombie portrait changes a still image. A photo-to-video generator creates new moving frames from reference photos. The studio above is the third kind: it makes a story rather than applying an overlay to an existing recording.

That distinction matters when choosing a result. For a quick camera gag, you may want a live effect. For a reunion with another person and a change of setting, choose a video story. The exact action depends on the template preview, not on the name of the search term.

Prepare Photos That Leave the Face Visible

  • Use one clear photo for each role shown in the selected template.
  • Choose an unobstructed face with even lighting and a similar camera angle for both people.
  • Avoid sunglasses, strong beauty filters and heavy costume makeup that hides facial features.
  • Upload photos you have permission to use; inspect the result before sharing.

The zombie styling comes from the story. Uploading an already distorted zombie face can make identity matching harder. A good reference improves the input, but it cannot guarantee an exact likeness in every generated frame.

Make the Effect in the Studio

  1. Browse the template previews and select an available story.
  2. Sign in, then match the two photo slots to the roles shown above each upload area.
  3. Open the settings if you want to change the available length, model or resolution.
  4. Review the displayed credit cost and consent text, then generate.
  5. Check the finished video for face changes and unintended details before downloading.

The same studio runs on the homepage and on this page. There is no separate filter subscription or hidden camera mode here. The studio shows the credit requirement for the settings you select; generation uses paid credits.

If the Zombie Stops Looking Like You

Try a sharper reference before changing several settings. Keep the eyes, jaw and hairline visible. If the two people swap roles, check the slot labels and selected template rather than assuming that Photo 1 always means the same thing across tools.

For a closer diagnosis, use our face-likeness guide. If you want to understand the story before uploading, the AI zombie trend guide explains the emotional sequence and how it differs from a simple green-face effect.

Questions & Answers

Is this a live TikTok zombie filter?

No. This is an independent photo-to-video studio. It generates a clip from uploaded reference photos and a selected story; it does not add an effect inside TikTok or use your live camera.

Can I use only one selfie?

The current story studio asks for two separate reference photos. Follow the selected template’s labels for the two roles; it is not a single-person portrait filter.

Do I need zombie makeup in the original photo?

No. Start with a clear ordinary photo. The story supplies the fictional zombie appearance, although generated details and likeness can vary.
